Man Arrested in Kidnapping, Assault

Police have arrested a 27-year-old man they suspect of kidnapping a woman from her Ventura bedroom and sexually assaulting her before she escaped from him in Los Angeles.
Marcus Brent Fields was found in a Pasadena motel room, police said. Bail was set at $250,000 as he awaited transfer from the L.A. County Jail to Ventura.
