It’s good to see that the city of Yorba Linda and other officials are so diligently watching out for hillside home buyers (“Fault Lines in Law Leave Homes on Shaky Ground,” Aug. 11). It’s certainly much less work to just take a developer’s report for granted rather than, say, hire an expert to look at it. Besides, if you can’t trust a developer, whom can you trust?
