Wine of the Week
This is a wine made for summer. Pale green-gold in color, soft and incredibly delicious, it carries a hint of sweet lime and salty sea air.
It’s made from the Albarino grape, native to Galicia in northwestern Spain. With its distinct mineral character, the wine is a perfect match for summer seafood. That’s practically all Galicians eat: lobster, crab, mussels, oysters, baby squid--all washed down with refreshing Albarino.
About $14. Available at Beverage Warehouse in Marina del Rey, (310) 306-2822, and Wine Cask in Santa Barbara, (805) 966-9463, among others.
