A platform at a New Orleans aquarium collapsed, dumping 10 people into a tank teeming with sharks. No one was seriously injured, officials said.
Two people were taken to a hospital for minor cuts and bruises, an Aquarium of the Americas spokeswoman said.
The accident happened during a private tour for aquarium donors. The platform they were standing on is used by keepers to feed the sharks and is not open to the public, the spokeswoman said.
It wasn’t immediately known what caused the steel footbridge above the 400,000-gallon tank to collapse.
