DreamWorks Records Has Top-Selling CD

For the first time since its 1995 launch, DreamWorks Records has the best-selling CD in the nation. Nashville singer Toby Keith’s “Unleashed” collection debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s pop chart after selling about 340,000 albums last week in U.S. retail outlets, according to SoundScan.
DreamWorks--an independent label owned by David Geffen, Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg--also releases records by Elliott Smith, Chris Rock, Nelly Furtado, Floetry and the Eels.
