Eclectic Orange Festival Adds New Events
The Eclectic Orange Festival 2002 has announced 10 new additions to its fourth annual program.
They include the Irish-influenced Sean Curran Dance Company (Oct. 11-12); France’s Ballet Preljocaj (Oct. 25-26); “Masters of Persian Music” (Oct. 20); the Brazilian pop fusion ensemble Karnak (Oct. 13); British composer Ivan Moody’s Passion and Resurrection (Oct. 11); “The Red Balloon,” a play for children and families (Nov. 1); three additional performances of Patrick Suskind’s one-man play “The Double Bass,” starring Louis Fantasia (Oct. 30-Nov. 2); harpsichordist Andreas Staier (Nov. 7); Pacific Chorale in “A Baroque Feast” (Oct. 27); Opera Pacifica’s production of “La Boheme” (Nov. 5-10); and cabaret singer Andrea Marcovicci (Nov. 5).
Tickets for the Oct 12-Nov. 10 festival, a project of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County with events at various venues throughout the county, go on sale today through the Eclectic Orange box office, (949) 553-2422, and all Ticket Master outlets.
