Sylmar Leads Selections

Sylmar High will be represented by five boys’ basketball players when the Valley Sports Foundation’s sixth Battle of the Valley all-star game is played at 8 p.m. April 27 at Cal State Northridge.

Louis Darby, Frank Robinson, Jeff Morse, Sam Harris and Alfredo Tovar of Sylmar will lead the City Section team against the Southern Section team, which includes Craig Weinstein of Division IV-AA champion Harvard-Westlake and Newbury Park’s Chris Randall, who was Ventura County’s leading scorer.

The boys’ game follows a girls’ all-star game at 6 p.m.
