Death Toll in Synagogue Explosion Rises to 13

The death toll in an explosion that was caused when a natural gas tanker crashed into a wall of a Tunisian synagogue Thursday climbed to 13 as three more people died.
The victims were mainly German tourists.
Leaders of Tunisia’s 2,000-member Jewish community remained perplexed about the blast at the Ghriba synagogue on Djerba, a resort island.
Authorities called the explosion a “tragic accident” and have opened an investigation.
