Clipper forward Lamar Odom, who played in only 29 games this season, will undergo surgery today to repair damage to his injured right wrist.

Odom, who averaged 13.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists, has been on the injured list since Jan. 24 because of a sprained ligament in his wrist.

The surgery, to be performed by team physician Dr. Tony Daly and wrist specialist Dr. Jerry Blatt, is expected to sideline Odom for at least three months.

Backup center Sean Rooks was put on the injured list because of a sprained left elbow, meaning he will sit out at least five of the last six games.

To replace Rooks, the Clippers activated center Obinna Ekezie, put on the injured list March 29 because of tendinitis in his left knee.

Ekezie is averaging 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 26 games.

Rooks has averaged 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 61 games.
