Assaults on Synagogues

I was shocked to read in your April 4 article, “Europe Sees a Tinderbox on Its Streets,” that you characterized unprovoked assaults against Jews and their places of worship as proxy fighting. Your Orwellian use of language implies that somehow the Jews are to blame for these racist assaults. However, there are no European Jews fighting, no Jews burning mosques, only Muslims attacking and burning synagogues to demonstrate their true intentions and beliefs.
