These two City Section schools are trying to make a statement, each attempting to prove it’s a title contender. Birmingham has routed two weak opponents and returns running back Kevin McCleary, who was suspended for an off-season fight. The Patriots possess tremendous team speed and have an experienced quarterback in Scott Jensen, who has thrown eight touchdown passes without an interception.
