Festival Celebrates Channel Islands Fox
A group of Ventura schoolchildren has organized a festival at the Santa Barbara Zoo celebrating the Channel Islands fox.
The Fall Fox Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the zoo, 500 Ninos Drive. It was planned by Save Our Species, a group of Mound Elementary School student conservationists.
The event will include educational booths, crafts, slide show and student-narrated puppet show. Zoo admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children. For information, call Susan Morris at 648-2127 or visit https://www.santabarbarazoo.org.
