Elderly Couple Are Found Slain in Home

Police are investigating the deaths of an elderly couple found slain in their La Habra Heights home, authorities said Tuesday.
Investigators were summoned to a home in the 2100 block of Ardsheal Drive after getting a 911 call about 1 p.m. Monday, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Lendman said.
The 81-year-old man and 79-year-old woman, whose identities have not been released, “were obviously the victims of foul play,” Lendman said.
He would not discuss the cause of death or say who made the emergency call.
