Events Canceled or Postponed

BASEBALL: All 15 major league games scheduled for Tuesday postponed. Future games undetermined.

BOXING: Felix Trinidad vs. Bernard Hopkins middleweight championship bout Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.

COLLEGE: Most athletic events at UCLA, USC and colleges nationwide. Pacific 10 football games, including UCLA-Arizona State at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, and four major-college football games.

GOLF: Thursday’s starts at world championship and two other tournaments postponed.

HIGH SCHOOLS: Nearly all athletic events, including all in the City Section, postponed.

HOCKEY: Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres postpone trips.

HORSE RACING: Fairplex Park and all other racing nationwide canceled.

MOTOR SPORTS: NASCAR canceled Friday qualifying for the New Hampshire 300.

SOCCER: Today’s four MLS games, including the Galaxy vs. San Jose at the Rose Bowl, postponed; the U.S. Women’s Cup doubleheader at Columbus, Ohio, canceled.

TENNIS: A $50,000 USTA men’s tournament in Tarzana.
