Vehicle Plunges Over Highway; Two Injured

A vehicle with two people inside went off the Angeles Crest Highway and plunged down a 150-foot embankment Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
The people were airlifted to a hospital, according to Los Angeles County fire dispatch supervisor Ed Pickett. Their conditions were not known, nor were their identities released Sunday.
U.S. Forest Service personnel sent to the crash near Mile Marker 36.17 of the highway were joined by firefighters, paramedics and a rescue team.
