Cal State Northridge quarterback Marcus Brady set a Division I-AA career completion record in a 44-31 loss to Troy State Saturday at Troy, Ala.
With a 13-yard pass to Anthony Ramos in the fourth quarter, Brady broke the standard of 934 completions set by Weber State’s Jamie Martin from 1989-92. After completing 26 of 45 passes against Troy State, Brady, a senior, has 935 completions.Drew Amerson, a junior, caught 11 passes against Troy State, making him Northridge’s career leader with 197 receptions. He passed Aaron Arnold, who played for the Matadors from 1996-99.
