Church Historian to Speak at Cal Lutheran

Martin E. Marty, a professor emeritus at the University of Chicago and a church historian, will be the keynote speaker at Cal Lutheran University’s Founders Day event at 10 a.m. Friday.
Marty is the author of 50 books, including the three-volume “Modern American Religion.”
The title of his lecture will be “Education and Technology: Their Importance in the Reformation and Now.”
The event is free and open to the public.
