Driver, Passenger Fatally Injured in Collision
Two Anaheim men were fatally injured late Sunday when their car was broadsided at Anton Boulevard and Main Street in Santa Ana, authorities said.
Joseph Estrada, 20, was trying to turn left onto Anton when his vehicle was struck by a car driven by Daniel Steurer, 20, of Santa Ana, Police Sgt. Baltazar DeLaRiva said.
Estrada was pronounced dead at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana.
His passenger, Jose Moreno, 23, was dead at the scene, DeLaRiva said.
Steurer was treated for minor injuries at the scene, DeLaRiva said, and was not cited.
An investigation of the accident was continuing Monday.
