New Century, New War: Old Ideas Prevail
So here we stand, world, at the beginning of the 21st century. It seems that our common history is one of violence and conflict. Every generation is called upon to go into some type of war. And now, due to another horrible act of killing, an unprecedented coalition has been created. Almost all nations of the world stand together. This coalition includes nations that have disagreed strongly in the past, and today we stand united. What a great opportunity!
Yet what has this coalition decided to do? More war, more violence, more revenge (cloaked in the word “justice”). It’s just the same old stuff. It doesn’t work. The cycle of death will continue; an opportunity lost. Come on, world! Let’s try something new. If not now, when?

All of this talk about giving up some of our freedoms in exchange for safety is nonsense. The only reason we don’t have safety is because we haven’t stood up and defended our freedom in the first place. We have been appeasing terrorists and terrorist nations for decades--and the only solution is to destroy these threats to our freedom (and hence our safety) by destroying those nations that are the instigators of terrorism.
