Shaky Loyola Prevails
Loyola Marymount just might have the special season it envisions if the Lions can play as badly as they did Wednesday and still win.
Despite having more turnovers (23) than field goals (19), Loyola defeated Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, 54-46, before 454 at Gersten Pavilion.

Rosa Bernasconi led Loyola with 13 points.
Katy Paterson had 12 for the Mustangs (1-4), who never led.
