Soldiers Kill 13 Rebels in Mountain Village

Soldiers killed 13 rebels in an attack on a mountain village in western Nepal, the first major clash between the army and the guerrillas since the king declared a state of emergency two days earlier, the Defense Ministry said.
Five other rebels were arrested and a truck laden with arms, explosives and money was recovered after the gunfight Tuesday night.
