Tonight’s Seniors Prom to Benefit Programs

About 1,000 senior citizens are expected to attend the Seniors Prom tonight at the Irvine Marriott to benefit the South County Senior Services’ Meals on Wheels and adult day-care programs.
The 5-to-9 p.m. event, sponsored by South County Senior Services and Cox Communications, will feature an hors d’oeuvres buffet, a raffle and dancing to big band music.
Tickets cost $25 at the door. The Irvine Marriott is at 18000 Von Karman Ave.
