Sierra Leone’s rebels released 110 children, most of them young soldiers, abducted during the country’s 10-year civil war, an aid agency said.
The latest release brings to 195 the total number of children freed as part of peace efforts. The rebels released 85 on Sunday.
Ibrahim Andrew Sesay, director of the Caritas aid agency in Makeni, said the children were handed over to the organization in the northern districts of Tonkolili and Bombali.
