THE BREAKDOWN
* Regular season (seeds): (1) Philadelphia 56-26, (5) Toronto 47-35.
* Season series: Toronto, 3-1.
* Scouting report: Two of the Raptors’ victories over the 76ers came with unique circumstances--one with Vince Carter playing only four minutes and other in overtime despite 51 points by Allen Iverson. Toronto also won the only game of the series in which Dikembe Mutombo played. Carter and Iverson should continue to shoot often, which means the rebounding of Toronto’s Antonio Davis and Mutombo could be decisive. Both teams overcame adversity in the first round--the 76ers winning three in a row after a Game 1 loss at home and the Raptors shrugging off a Carter-Charles Oakley rift before Game 5 in New York.
* Prediction: Philadelphia, 4-2. Iverson has more ways to score than Carter.
