Historian Denies Falsifying Holocaust

British historian David Irving began an appeal of a court ruling that branded him a “Holocaust denier.”
He denied falsifying the Nazi treatment of Jews and insisted he had never said the systematic killing of Jews did not happen.
Irving lost a libel action last year against an American professor, Deborah Lipstadt, and her publishers, Penguin Books, who accused him of denying the World War II Holocaust in which more than 6 million Jews perished.
