Man Fatally Shot as Party Breaks Up

A Gardena man died early Saturday after being shot while leaving a party in Anaheim.
David Ybarra, 26, was pronounced dead about 3:20 a.m. at Anaheim Memorial Medical Center. He had been attending a large party near Pine and North streets.
Police said that as the party was breaking up in the early morning hours, two groups of party-goers got into an argument during which someone produced a gun and shot Ybarra.
No arrests had been made late Saturday, and police said they were investigating whether the incident was gang-related.
