Assault Weapons

After reading about the tragedy at a school in Japan (“8 Children Die in Japan Knife Attack,” June 8), I wonder what the gun control groups are going to say now, knowing that a six-inch kitchen knife was used. Eight children killed and 15 others wounded. The gun control groups would like the public to believe that only a gun could create such damage. Are the gun control groups now going to lobby to have six-inch kitchen knives labeled as assault weapons? What about a ban?
