Re “‘Paperless’ Courthouse to Set High-Tech Standard,” June 9: Although I am a computer-literate lawyer, I can see why this high-tech standard will result in low-justice results for litigants who cannot afford it. Again, it’s a move by the justice system to separate access to justice from those not rich enough to afford the justice sought. These new courts are designed for big corporations and the well-heeled who already have the easiest access to the justice system.
Justice is in the interest of the strongest? Sorry. Justice is in the interest of those who can best afford it. Santa Ana will have the best courts that money can buy.
