Malcolm Cooper; Won Shooting Gold in 2 Olympics
Malcolm Cooper, 54, the only man to successfully defend an Olympic small-bore shooting title, died Saturday of cancer at his home in Eastergate, Sussex, England.
Cooper won the gold medal in the small-bore division at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1984.
Defending his standing, he repeated the feat and won a second gold medal at the Seoul Olympics in 1988.
He also won all five individual titles at the 1985 European Championships and set five world records at the 1986 World Championships.
