Cars Kill Man on Ventura Freeway

An unidentified man was killed late Monday after being struck by several cars on the westbound Ventura Freeway at Victory Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The death was ruled a suicide by the coroner’s office, said CHP spokesman Vince Bell, who added that investigators were attempting to determine Tuesday whether the man jumped from a bridge in Griffith Park or walked onto the freeway.
