Pull Up an Artsy Chair and Sit a Spell in Chicago

First it was plastic cows, and then other cities copied Chicago’s example with everything from fish to moose. Now the city is back with “Suite Home Chicago,” another public art display of . . . furniture.
Brightly decorated fiberglass couches, chairs, TV sets and such are scattered around downtown sidewalks in a follow-up to 1999’s wildly successful “Cows on Parade.”
The cattle pumped $200 million into the economy and raised $3.5 million for charity when the cows were auctioned, supporters said.
