‘Third Way’ Is Strong

Tony Blair’s landslide reelection and Bill Clinton’s, five years ago, show the continuing vitality and electoral strength of center-left “third way” politics (June 8). What a pity Al Gore forgot this lesson. If he hadn’t reverted to an old-left Dukakis-style campaign, he’d be sitting in the White House today.
