Deputy Receives MADD Award for DUI Arrests

A Ventura County sheriff’s deputy who helped crack down on drunk drivers in Moorpark was honored by the state office of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Deputy Paul Ferruzza was recognized for making more than a dozen drunk-driving arrests last year and spending several shifts training fellow deputies in proper drunk-driving enforcement, MADD officials said.
Ferruzza was one of several individuals and organizations honored during recent ceremonies in Sacramento.
