Let’s Fix the Pool at Courthouse Entrance
- Share via
As a longtime resident of Santa Ana, I strongly believe that we should preserve the architectural uniqueness of the Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana and repair the reflective pool, a Neutra signature feature (July 7).
A visit to the Richard and Dion Neutra exhibit in the Grand Central Art Center in the Santa Ana Artist Village will bring home his importance in American architecture.
The reflective pool creates a tranquil entrance; many of us well remember the beauty of this entrance. I am confident the county can fix a leaking reflective pool. Our pool was built in the 1950s and remains without leaks.
