Meeting Planned on Aiding Homeless Kids
State officials and representatives of nonprofit organizations, cities and school districts will discuss the educational needs of homeless children at a meeting Monday. The session is one of several conducted each year to coordinate activities and services for the homeless. Sponsors are the county executive office and the Shelter and Hunger Partnership of Orange County.
Monday’s meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles Times community room, 1375 Sunflower Ave., Costa Mesa. Seating is limited. Reservations and information: (714) 247-1207.
