4th of July Closures
Wednesday is Independence Day. The following will be closed in observance of the holiday:
* Offices: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries and many businesses will be closed.
* Public transit: MTA buses and light-rail lines will follow Sunday schedules. Metrolink trains will not run.
* Trash: Los Angeles residents whose trash collection day falls on July 4 will have trash collected on Thursday.
