Cash, Cars for New Workers

Despite the economic slowdown, recruitment remains a hot topic among human resources representatives. And, despite the rise in search firms and online job sites, most of them say their most effective recruiting tool is their own work force, according to a survey by the Society for Human Resources Management.
Three out of four of the representatives said their companies paid cash for referrals that led to hires, and almost a quarter said their companies rewarded employees with cars.
