Police divers found the bodies of a woman and her youngest daughter in a coastal inlet in Newport just days after the woman’s two other children were found dead.
A nationwide search was underway for Christian Longo, 27, her husband and the last member of the family believed still alive.
“The people here in the community I know want this person caught,” said Bernice Barnett, Lincoln County district attorney.
The bodies of Longo’s wife, Mary Jane, and their 2-year-old daughter, Madison, were found in the same inlet on the central Oregon coast where police found the bodies of 5-year-old Zachary Michael Longo and Sadie Ann Longo, 3.
