2 Men Hospitalized After Car Hits Palm Tree

Two San Fernando Valley men were in critical condition Tuesday after their car slammed into a palm tree in Pacoima, police said.
Both men were airlifted to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center after the 6:05 a.m. accident on Branford Street near the Golden State Freeway, said Officer Connie Silver of the LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division.
The driver, of Sylmar, and the passenger, of Mission Hills, were unidentified pending notification of family.
