Distorted memories and imagined realities are the topics of four artists in “Four From the Floor” at the Huntington Beach Art Center. Photographers Ulla Barr and Christine Nguyen and painters Patty Doody and Patrick Williams are featured. Barr shows how women over 50 are stereotyped using “granny dolls.” Nguyen’s photos are of machines inhabited by people. Doody paints her current obsessions, and Williams captures life in suburbia.
