Art Show to Benefit College Scholarship Fund

An art exhibit and sale to benefit the Ventura College Art Student Scholarship Fund is running through Dec. 14 at the school’s Gallery 2.

Artists showing their works include Cathy Day, Jackie Cavish, Ellis Jump, Norman Kirk, Gerd Koch, Kathy McGuire, Debra McKillop, Paula Odor, Karen Riffel, Claudia Rigg and Hiroko Yoshimoto.

The show is sponsored by Ventura College’s Friends of the Arts, a nonprofit group that raises money for students majoring in the arts. Membership includes professional artists from around Ventura County, faculty and college alumni.
