Long Beach Poly Ranked No. 1 in Cross-Country

Long Beach Poly High, the defending state Division I boys’ cross-country champion, is the top-ranked team in the nation in Harrier magazine’s preseason poll.

Eight of the top nine runners return from a team that last year won its third state title in four years. Canyon Country Canyon, runner-up in the state Division II final last year, is 16th in the boys’ poll.
