Ingram Micro to Buy Cisco Sales Division

Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest distributor of technology products, said Tuesday that it has agreed to buy Sphinx CST’s Cisco sales division, a Cisco Systems Inc. supplier in Britain. Terms were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to be completed by Sept. 7.

Ingram said in a news release that the division, with 20 employees, will join Ingram Micro’s operations in Britain as a unit within the networking sector and will operate from its existing offices.
