The Reality Behind the Label ‘Sex Offender’
Re “Megan’s Law Reprieve Given to Juveniles,” July 18:
A 17-year-old argued that he shouldn’t be labeled a sex offender for his entire life because of something that happened when he was 10.
Is it all about what the 17-year-old boy will experience if he is labeled a sex offender? What about what the victim experienced because of what he did?
He should be labeled a sex offender because he hurt someone, and the victim may be scared for life because of what he did.
