Inquiry Into Death of Girl Continues

Sheriff’s detectives continued their investigation Saturday into the death of a teenage girl whose badly burned body was found behind a gymnasium, authorities said.
A boy visiting the Veterans Park and Sports Complex on Moneta Avenue found the body about 8 a.m. Friday. The girl was described as Asian, about 13 or 14 years old, Sheriff’s Deputy Rich Pena said.
