2 Men Hospitalized After Separate Shootings

Two people were shot just blocks apart Friday afternoon in South Los Angeles, police said.
A 31-year-old man was shot near Manchester Boulevard and Western Avenue, said Lt. David Lindsay. The unidentified man was in critical condition at a local hospital.
About a minute later, a 19-year-old man was shot at Western and 88th Street, Lindsay said. That man was hospitalized in stable condition. The shootings may have been gang-related, Lindsay said. No suspects were in custody late Friday.
