Chaminade 38, Bishop Montgomery 14--Sophomore Erik Vose threw for four second-half touchdowns as the Eagles overcame a 14-10 halftime deficit at Bishop Montgomery.
Josh Jones caught a 37-yard touchdown pass from Vose to give Chaminade (3-1) a 17-14 lead early in the third quarter.
Three plays later, Louis Galluci blocked a punt to set up another Vose-to-Jones touchdown, a 16-yard pass play.
After Kyle Pietrzak sacked Bishop Montgomery’s Brandon Landry on fourth and four, Vose added his third touchdown pass of the third quarter, connecting on a 10-yard play to Amin Abusaleh to make the score 31-14.
Rudy Anesi scooped up a fumble late in the game and returned it 40 yards to set up the final touchdown, a 35-yard pass play from Vose to Jesse Taylor.
Vose completed 13 of 24 passes for 220 yards with no interceptions. Abusaleh had six receptions for 87 yards and Jones had four for 89 yards.
