Arroyo Grande, winners of Southern Section championships in 1997 and 1998, will run its misdirection “fly” offense in a nonleague game tonight at Ventura.

The Eagles defeated Ventura, 21-7, in a Division IV quarterfinal last year, but Arroyo Grande Coach Jon Huss knows he’s lost the element of surprise.

“They have a lot of players back on defense,” Huss said.
