Granada Hills 28, Jefferson 14--Quarterback Bobby Baca enjoyed his best performance of the season, completing 19 of 24 passes for 294 yards and four touchdowns in a victory at Granada Hills.
Joey Rodriguez caught seven passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
Rodriguez turned short passes by Baca into scoring plays of 53 yards in the second quarter and 47 yards in the third quarter.
Granada Hills (4-0) also got a solid game from Robert Ortega, who rushed for 125 yards in 16 carries and had five catches for 79 yards. He also intercepted a pass.
The Highlanders, who have outscored opponents, 130-20,finished with 430 total yards.
Jefferson (2-2) had 324 total yards, but quarterback John Brown completed only four of 13 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.
