LAGUNA WOODS
The City Council has approved a 10-year exclusive franchise with its current outdoor advertising company, Eller Media. The company will continue to provide bus shelters for the city and replace the bus benches, City Manager Leslie Keane said.
“We’d like to have [a design] that really reflects the city of Laguna Woods” and distinguishes the new benches from those in other communities, Keane said. The old benches will be replaced in phases after the agreement is final in about 90 days, Keane said.
